Private lessons are offered out of David Gluck's home studio located in the Junction, Toronto. Lessons are purchased as a six week term, at the end of which the student has the option to continue with another six week term. This feature ensures that the student can make a realistic short-term commitment and revise that commitment as their needs and schedule change.

Lessons typically span two hours at a time, once a week, but the student may negotiate other arrangements if this is not ideal for their needs.

Lessons are custom-tailored and based on the student's needs. Students are encouraged to work on a project at the studio with David's supervision. A still life, landscape, or a portrait is an example of the sort of recommended project. During the course of six lessons, the student will get hands-on experience with the full attention of the teacher to provide guidance through the hurdles of each step of the project. At the end of the six weeks, the student may want to commit to another term if more time is needed to complete the project.

David Gluck is a fully certified art educator under the state of Pennsylvania. He currently is an instructor at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto where he teaches beginner and intermediate levels of the program.

Rates are $40/hour. Post dated checks will be accepted on the first lesson for the amount of the 6 week interval.
